There is a butchers, Chez Charlies: 2 bakers; 4 hairdressers and 2 tabacs and finally a richly stocked Sunday market for anything else.
Esperaza has 3 cafés, one of which, Le Café de La Gare, is turning itself into a great little place to eat; plus a cabin affair that whips up a mean pizza or steak sandwich on the doorstep of the Dinosaur Museum called the TyRex. There's a marvellous creperie , but, sadly they're often closed for the winter. There are many places nearby to eat - some quite fabulous - non ruinous.
